Less than a month to go and things are coming together. Sach has a countdown on the refrigerator so I'm reminded every day that I need to stop procrastinating. Every evening he marks off a day. It has become a fun thing we do together. (Although I'm cringing inside as I realize I don't have much time left for final touches). I think for the most part all the hard stuff is done. I had a melt-down the other day but from what I hear I'm lucky I've only had one! There is just not enough time in a week to get everything done I want. I've been trying to make the most of the time I'm given, but even that can get overwhelming. Sach has been great through it all. He even learned how to shop for a hot glue gun and use pinking shears. Something he can use in the future :)
Our minister told us we need to start saying/thinking "We" for everything. Sach had a really hard time with this when it came time for bridal portraits. He thought "we" needed to be going, haha, not the case. We have definitely enjoyed the surprise packages that arrive regularly. Sach gets to open all presents sent by mail. He has really enjoyed that. Now to find a house to put everything in......(sigh)
I can't wait to see the portraits. We took them all outside and the day was very sunny and windy. My eyes are super sensitive to the sun so I hope they turned out ok. :/
On a totally different note, my besty Tandi had her first baby on Wednesday, Clayton Wesley Poitevint (or "C-dub"). I was pacing by the phone before my bridal portraits anxiously awaiting new of the birth. Tandi lives in Midland and I was not able to be there. Little C-dub entered the world at 8lbs 1 oz 20 inches long! I'm so happy for Tandi and Garret and hopefully will be able to get away soon to see the little rascal! I will definitely post pictures when I do.

Catch up.....
Well the countdown has begun. Less than 2 months till the "big day," and things are starting to fall into place. Wednesday was my mom's birthday. She came to town to bring my bridesmaid dresses and to see the grandkiddos. We all went out to eat at Outback. I hope she had a great birthday! I really loved seeing her!!! :) Sach is getting very excited about the wedding, I think. We got the groomsmen ties in and they are hot pink. Sach put on his whole outfit the other night and modeled for me. He's going to look so handsome! :) I can't wait!
I have been searching for buckets to make the isle for my outdoor wedding. I found some at a local feed store but they were a little pricey for my liking. A friend of mine at work suggested I look at Tractor Supply, why didn't I think of that?! Well, I went there today and what do ya know? The perfect buckets at the perfect price for my budget! I couldn't have been happier. I took my best friend Ashley her dress today and she tried it on. She looked great! I was excited once again! Then I went to practice my hair with Sach's aunt Wanda, who is a saint for doing my hair. Seeing everything put together made me super excited!! Less than 2 months and very happy :)
I've been working my fanny off lately. (I wish that was literally) The hospital I work at has started a new campaign, "30 minute door to doc time." Boy! has that made work more "challenging." I was used to being put "on call" when we weren't busy and now it feels like we never have enough nurses for all the patients. I have to say I enjoy the bigger paychecks but I've been exhausted. Yesterday I got off at 7 pm and was asleep by 9pm.
I have neglected to take pictures of anything recently. Sach and I got to spend some time with Cash the other day and I should have taken pictures of the two of them. Cash loves his uncle Ach. Cash came over for a little bit and kicked his shoes off as soon as he got in the door. He has a book at my house that he loves to play with and knows exactly where it is. He sat in the floor and played while Sach played with him. Sach is so good with kids! I can't wait till he has one of his own. I can only imagine how much fun we will have. :)
Tomorrow we are going out to Sach's grandad's ranch to see the baby longhorns. My dad is going with us just to get out and I'm hoping to have some pictures to share. I hope all is well with everyone reading this. :) God Bless!

Entertaining Blogging...
I would like to say that I have a blog that is entertaining to read. I'm pretty sure my blog is my way of venting. I don't have fun stories about my kids (cause I don't have any). I have the woes of planning my wedding and tell of the random things my fiance and I do. I only wish I was a good journalist/writer. Oh, to be so creative! I've never been much of a writer.
My younger cousin Alyssa has a blog, http://musicalsnack.blogspot.com/ that is so entertaining to read. She is a great writer and I only wish I could write so well and that it was so entertaining. She's young, single and just an all round cool chick. Check it out if you have time and see what ya think. :)
I can say I will aspire to write such entertainment that people enjoy to read but I don't think it will ever happen. Have a great day!

Welcome 2010!
Happy 2010! We hope everyone started the year on a good note. We are very excited about the coming year! This is the year we will be married! I'm hoping with it being an even year Sach can remember how long we've been married a little easier. :)
Sach and me
Our Christmas was great! We received lots of great presents! My mom and Johnny came to San Angelo Christmas Eve from Dallas. It took them 11 hours to get here! The weather was horrible so we are very thankful they made it safely! They saw a total of 28 wrecks! It was nice being able to spend Christmas with the WHOLE fam! :) I am blessed to have the fantastic parents that I have and that they are still good friends! It makes the odd situation so much easier for the rest of us. This year I started a tradition with Sach and me, giving each other a Christmas ornament that has some meaning of hope for the coming year. Well, I made the mistake of thinking this up late (only after I saw an ornament I could give him). I got Sach a cutely decorated little mailbox, to symbolize our hope of buying a home in the next year. Sach got me an angel holding a banner that says "hope". :) It was a valiant effort, I thought, especially on such short notice. This year Sach and I actually got to ring in the New Year together, which we have never done! The last few years I have been working so we did not get to do anything. This year we had plenty to do! We started the evening at my dad's house. We had good food and got to hang out with some family! After stuffing our faces, we headed to Sach's friend Wapo's house. There, we got to visit with Sach's hockey buddies. We ended the evening at Justin and Becca Tate's house. There we played some Wii and rang in the New Year!

Super behind.......
Wow! I didn't realize I hadn't updated in a while. Our Thanksgiving was great! I didn't have to work this year so I got to enjoy family time. I absolutely love our families! My family is insane and fun. The "men" play ping-pong and tend to get a little over competive. I have a couple shots of the fun. We also went to Sach's parent's house but everyone was leaving when we got there so I didn't take any pictures. Sach has a great family that are very close. The only thing missing this year was my Mema. Her Alzheimer's has gotten worse and it's just too much for her to take her places. Everyone did make a trip over to see her after the ping-pong so she didn't miss out on the company.

Sach and I went to Dallas for a Stars game. My aunt Martha got us free tickets. It was really fun! It was our first trip to the American Airlines Center. The atmosphere makes the games enjoyable even if you're not into hockey (I really don't care for ice hockey). The Stars won and scored 3 points so we got free Chips and Salsa from Chili's. Sach and I went tonight and used one of our coupons :) It was a fast trip but we got to spend some time with my mom and Johnny T. Love, Love, Love them!!!! :)
I had my wisdom teeth taken out last week. I only had the top ones. My mouth is so small they were coming in on the cheek side of my jaw and were difficult to get to. I decided I better have them out before I regreted it. I opted to be put to sleep and that was weird. I've only been put under one other time (for tonsilectomy). The laughing gas didn't work so well, so they gave me drugs through the IV. Waking up was the worst. I could hear and see but could not move my arms or lips or talk. It was the worst feeling. Sach wouldn't look at me because he said my eyes were super dilated and freaked him out. I could go on and on about what a weird and uncomfortable experience that was, but the good thing is that all went well and I no longer have wisdom teeth! My recovery has been really easy and Sach has been the absolute best. He took care of me and made sure I took my meds. I only had a little swelling on one side, not enought to really notice. My pain was very minimal and only required ibuprofen. I was back up and at running 2 days later! I am so thankful I had such a good recovery.
I finally shot a deer on Friday. I have been hunting several times this season and have not fired a single shot. I'm a very picky shooter but my freezer is becoming barren! (if that's how you spell it) Hopefully we will be cooking more chili soon!! :)

Cash's 2nd Birthday
Happy 2nd Birthday Cash-ola!! My nephew Cash is 2 today! It seems like just yesterday my sis was in the hospital having him! He is the cutest and most polite little kid I've ever known. At his birthday party on Saturday, he would open a present then run over to the person it was from and say "Thank you" then run back for the next one. He love Handy Manny so I gave him the singing toolbox with all the tools. Ever time I'm at his house, he gets his toolbox and plays it so we can dance. He's getting so big (mentally) and talking so much! He's still a little shrimp, his brother Mason is 14 months younger and is almost the same size. :) I love my Cash-ola! He makes me want to have babies REAL bad!

I love my nephew! He's the greatest!
Just before his 1st birthday
Cutest little man!
I love my nephew! He's the greatest!
