Mason Michael Millican
He's finally here! Mason was born Monday morning Jan 26th at 7:41 am. He weighed in at 10 lbs 0.2 oz and measured 21.25 in long. He is huge! He's very handsome. I expected him to look more like his brother but he does not. Cassie is doing great! She said they had a hard time getting him out because he was so big! :) Cash doesn't know what to think just yet. He's already started acting out and being a little toot. Cas should come home from the hospital tomorrow and we'll see how Cash reacts. I have a feeling it's not going to be pretty. My mom is here staying with Cassie and Bob for 2 weeks. She didn't get to be a the birth because she and Johnny came down with a stomach bug and spent the whole day "talking to Ralph on the big white phone." :( Mom's feeling a little better tonight and I brought her to my house to hang for a bit and get some food in her, after getting to see her new grandson of course! Here are some pics of the new little guy!

Townes Allen Thornton
One of my very old and dear friends Wes just welcomed his first baby, Townes Allen Thornton born December 31st. Wes and Jill (Pelzel) live in Seattle,WA. I'm so excited for them. They've been married since 2006 and the timing of Townes was perfect. Jill finished school in December, just in time. Townes is so handsome. You can see bits of both parents in Mr Townes. Congratulations to Wes and Jill! I hope all is well and you are getting a little sleep :) Love y'all

Updates....
Well it has been 13 days now and Sach has not dipped! YEA! I'm stoked! The first couple of days were hard but I think we're past the worst part :) I'm so proud of him! and me for keeping my comments to the minimum! The year has started off great! My sister had her 31st birthday and my mom got to be here for it. In fact my mom has been here since Friday to help with Cash so my brother-in-law could go on a well deserved ski trip. Mom stayed till today to find out if Cassie was going to have the baby today. Unfortunately the baby is not coming today. The doctor says that she wants to try and hold out 2 more weeks! Cassie was so excited because the doctor said last week that it would be today. :( She was hoping it would be today because today is Bobby's mother's birthday and she passed away years ago. It would have been very special if Mason were born today. We were very disappointed. So mom is driving back to Dallas today and will hopefully be returning soon for the arrival of Mason. The middle name is still a secret as his dad will be picking it. I will post more information as I get it :) Hope everyone is off to a great start on the new year!

Happy New Year!
It is 2009! I can't believe it! I had a hard time at work yesterday writing '09! Needless to say I had alot of scribbles on my paperwork. This last year was a blessed year and was filled with good times. I hope this next year is filled with new adventures and excitement.
Sach and I celebrated our 1 year aniversary in August. It seems like we've been together so much longer than that! Even my family thinks it's been years! I hope this next year together is filled with excitement! (wink, wink!) Sach is attempting to quit dipping. This was his new year's resolution last year with no luck so here's round 2! So far he's done awesome and I have promised to keep my mouth shut! It's hard not to give him a hard time :)
I started my job 6 month ago and it has been so fun! I love my job and I am so glad I chose to be a nurse. Just yesterday I had sweet patients that told me I was a great nurse and that they could tell it was my calling. I had 2 sweet ladies hug me before I left them because I was such a good nurse. It's patients like these that make my job worth while! There are always obstacles in a career and I hope that I can overcome any more as well as I have so far. I have learned so much these last 6 months and I know that the next year will bring much more learning experiences! I am very excited about the next year!
It has been a joy to watch Cash grow this last year. I still can't believe he's already 1! He's walking and talking and into everything! He makes me excited about starting a family one day! (Of course I was excited about having a family 4 years ago when Ash had Kelton but I'm being patient! :) ) Cash is a handsome little boy and he is looking older by the day! He will be a big brother in the next couple of weeks and it will be fun to see how he adapts to not being the center of attention. I have a feeling it won't be easy. It's great to see my parents with Cash. They are so in love with him! My dad loves teaching him new things and my mom loves to spoil him! But that's what grandparents are for, right?
I can't wait to see what this next year brings for all of our family and friends! We are sure to have fun with the new baby! and I hope this year brings exciting news! :) I am blessed to have
my family and friends and wish you all health and happiness this next year! I love you all!

WAY late...but Merry Christmas!
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Ours was great! We got to spend time with our families and had alot of fun! It was good to see my fam since I didn't get to spend Thanksgiving with them due to working :( They are SO fun! I have to say that having little kids around is fun because they get so excited with presents! Cash was too cute on Christmas! With every present he got so excited! I can't wait for next year! I took some pics of my fam! :) My cousin Ash graced us with her presence which was awesome! I've missed that girl! :) The cousins all played rock band and it was hilarious! We tried to get my uncle Rick to play but he was intimidated by us! :)
We were blessed to have my Mema with us this Christmas! She has Alzheimer's disease and forgets who we are but she's a joy to be around. She may not know us but she can play the piano like nobody's business. It's amazing how powerful music is! She's 88 years old and is still a real firecracker! :) We love her dearly! I had to work right after Christmas and all weekend so I didn't get to see the rest of my family that came into town. We had lots of fun with Sach's family too but for some reason I forgot to take pictures with them! Oops!! I really meant to! We see his family often so I'll have to post some later :)
