Sunday Funday!

This weekend was very fun. I had the whole weekend off so Sach and I got to hang out and have some fun! :) Saturday we went to the C- Ranch (my favorite!) for Carla's birthday. I forgot my camera so I'll have to post pics later when I get some. It was Sach's first time to go to the ranch and I was SOOO excited! It is my friends Chili and Judson's family ranch and I have spent loads of time there with my friends. We planned on spending the afternoon but ended up staying in to the wee hours due to having so much fun! It was great to see my friends and spend time with them and Sach all at once! :)
On Sunday, after a late night, Sach and I went to First Presbyterian Church for gospel Sunday (aka "Dave Sunday"). My dad told me they were playing some good music and Cassie and Bobby were taking Cash so I decided it would be good for me and Sach to go. It was great! :) Lots of good old church songs! They reminded me of my mom. :) What I didn't know what that my dad had like 4 solos! hence the aka "Dave Sunday" :) I love to hear my dad sing and play his guitar and you could tell he really liked the music. Afterwards my dad said he hoped he didn't embarrass us! Dad, you could never embarrass me if you tried! I love you!! :) He did a great job and the music was fantastic! :) After church my sis asked me to take a family photo for her since they were dressed up. We went down to Santa Rita park and took some pictures that turned out pretty good! Here are some shots we took :) It was difficult to get Bobby and Cash both looking at the camera :) (and making a decent face!). Cash was not liking all the pictures and Bob was trying to talk to him so it was hard to catch a good pic :) What I didn't realize until afterwards wat that there were houses in the background! Sorry Cas, I was not paying attention!

I think this one is my favorite :) (I think Bob was saying "Ta-dah!")

I love spending time with my family although I don't always get the time to :) I love you all!

After Easter updates

I just wanted to post some pics from Easter Sunday. I had to work that weekend (Boo!) and my nephew Mason was baptized. I was upset that I had to work but I was serving by helping those who were sick. :) Sach did my family thing for me since I couldn't and took some pics. After church my family gathered at my dad's house for lunch. My mom and Johnny T came in town and I got to see them for a split second. :)
From what I was told, Cash is quite the egg hunter. He had so many Easter egg hunts he attended he was a pro. It took some time getting used to putting the eggs in the basket but he figured it out :) He's got to be the cutest kid! I love him to pieces! :)

These are just some other pics that Sach took. I have to say he's not the best picture taker but it's the thought that counts, right? :)

Happy Easter!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter! I will be working unfortunately :( My nephew Mason is being baptized on Sunday and so my mom is coming into town. I hope I get to see her. We took Cash and Mason to see the Easter bunny today and have their picture made but Cash was not having it! After watching all the kids take their picture with the bunny, Cash was still afraid of him. He would not even stand next to him. He was seriously clawing me so I wouldn't put him down! :) Cassie ended up sitting in the picture with them. It was pretty funny! The girl taking the picture even tried to bribe him with a sucker and he said "No". I'll post a picture later when I get one.
I also wanted to wish Ashley and Tandi a Happy Birthday! They are two of my bestest friends and they share a birthday! I hope you both have a fantastic day! I love you very much! :)
I would also like to say the house is smelling MUCH better. I still get a whif of stinch every now and again but Sach says I'm just paranoid! I think he just can't smell. :) I'm still trying to convince him to let me buy a house but that's a losing battle. One of these days it will happen. Hope everyone has a Happy Easter and if you're traveling, be safe! :)

Update in short..

Well, the last 2 weeks have gone by so fast. We had a little problem with a dead squirrel in the wall, but Sach and his friend Daniel cut a hole in the wall an pulled it out! (while I stood on the couch and freaked out!) Then after pulling it out he found another one!!! It was very old but very creepy! Thank goodness the house is smelling much better. The hole is now patched and I can walk through my living room and not wonder if something has crawled out of the hole!
I have been wanting to buy a house lately (especially after the squirrel issue) and I am constantly searching for one. Sach makes fun of me because I "rubber neck" when we drive by a neighborhood I wouldn't mind living in. I'm always looking for "For Sale" signs. :) So I decided to go to the bank just to see what I could get a loan for. Sach convinced me that we couldn't afford very much (he's a saver). But the banker approved me for a loan much higher than I expected. I guess being a nurse pays off! :) My credit is fantastic! So let's hope Sach decides it is time to buy a house soon so we can start looking! Especially while the rates are low and may even get lower!
Cassie spent the week in Dallas with the boys. My mom really wanted to take Cash to the zoo and to the Arboretum, they had a display of nursery book houses. I haven't seen the pics yet but Cassie told me she took some cute ones. I went to the doctor with Cassie last week for Mason's 2 month checkup. He weighs 12 lbs! Cash only weighs about 20 lbs! Mason is huge! and getting cuter by the day. So far his eyes have stayed blue like me and my dad but we'll see if they stay. Cassie and Bob both have dark features so it would be cool if Mason kept the blue eyes! (They are my favorite feature if ya can't tell)
Sach is in Lubbock coaching his kids hockey team this weekend. He is still insisting he is not going to coach next year or ever again for that matter. I won't believe it till I see it. He loves hockey so much and I can't see him stopping. :) and he says he doesn't like kids! I think he really loves them! I can't wait to see him with his own kids!
