Officially an RN

I am official!!!!!!! I now have "RN" after my name :) I told my dad how to look it up on the Texas board of nurses website and he saved a copy to his computer! hahaha He's such a dork but I'm blessed to have parents who love me and praise my achievements! Work is going well and I got my new name tag today. Silly...but I was real excited :) I still haven't done too much, just training. The ER has a new computer system that is AWESOME! No more writing on paper :) Technology is fantastic. Everyone I work with is great and my boss is awesome! I really lucked out! I'm thinking about not going back to school till next year so I can enjoy my life and my boyfriend and save some money so we can move!! I'm worried I might not go back if I stop now but I've done it before so I can do it again, right? I hope so.

So, I've decided my blogs are totally boring. I read everyone else's and it's all about their kids and family! Your lives are WAY more exciting than mine! I can't wait to have kiddos and be married to my Sach (aka Unkle Ach, Handbag, S.A.). He's pretty fantastic. He's been upset lately cause I go to bed so early we don't spend alot of time together. :( He leaves for New York next week for the national hockey tournament. He'll be gone for 11 days! I'm already dreading it! I took this great pic of him as we enjoyed our celebratory beer for me finishing my test! I definitely needed one after that thing! I think it captures him perfectly :)

I passed!

I unofficially passed my state boards! :) YEA!!!!!! I haven't posted lately cause I've been soooo nervous and trying to study! But I'm on my way! We had Sach's family reunion, yes another one, this past weekend. It was a good relaxer after taking my test. I got to enjoy some cocktails poolside and just chill. Sach had a blast! He gets so excited to see family! And unfortunately amongst all the relaxing I forgot to take pictures. So... no pics to post on this one but just wanted to let everyone know I passed and thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. I'm pretty sure God had a lot to do with it! :)

My first days of work....

I started my new job yesterday. I've just been sitting in a classroom so far.....kinda boring...but that's what you have to do. I get to actually work in the ER on Thursday. I'm pretty excited! I thought I was working with my new boss but I found out today that he is out of town and won't be back for another week or so. That makes me a bit nervous because there are some people that are not good teachers there. I'm hoping he sees that as well. Funny thing is that I only have one pair of scrubs so I"m having to wear the same thing everyday. I couldn't find anymore in my size. I have some ordered so I hope they get here soon or I'm sure I'll be given a hard time.
Studying for my test is not going well but I'm trying REAL hard. I still have not gotten my cable working. Sach took off half a day to meet them today and they didn't show up!! I was PO'd to say the least and gave them a piece of my mind. The guy who scheduled it told me the wrong date even after I verified it with him 3 times!!!! Now they're telling me if I'm not here when they decide to show up on Thursday that they will leave! I'm venting....but SERIOUSLY! We'll see what happens. I'm just trying to be positive. I have a new job that I really wanted! That's super fantastic! I can't wait for excitement!

While attending a surprise birthday party for Aaron's girlfriend, Ashley, I was introduced to the best video game EVER! It's called rockband and it was on Playstation. If you have never played it, you should. If you have played it, you know what I'm talking about. :) You can have a drummer, singer, and two guitar players. It is so FUN! I've convinced my dad we need to get it for our next family "get together." We were playing "Say it ain't so" By Weezer. :)

I also took some pics of Cash and his "Daddy-O" as my dad likes to call himself. :) He's trying to crawl theses days but gets frustrated and has been trying to walk instead. He loves to have someone hold his hands while he tries to walk. He also has a thing for his Aunt Chels :)

Babysittin...

I kept my nephew, Cash, yesterday because he was sick and could not go to his babysitter's house. He was fun as ever, when his fever was down. I took a couple of pics but he doesn't like the camera much. :) Sach left today for his hardball hockey tournament today. He was pretty excited about it. It is the last tourney before nationals in July in New York. I'm also posting some pics of Sach playin hockey.
I'm getting nervous about starting my new job on Monday. I don't even have any scrubs and when I went to get some I found one shirt, one pair of pants and a jacket that fit, and they're all a different color.....should be interesting. Some of my friends have already taken their test.....I wish I had! The waiting is nerve racking! My friend Garland is coming in town today. She's living in Cali and is coming for her brother's wedding. I'm stoked to see her! :) I love that girl.

Just another day...

So, we're trying to set up our new cable receiver that Sach's aunt gave us for my graduation. I'm not sure we're doing it right but we'll see. Sach is getting ready for his hockey tournament in Lake Worth this weekend. It's an adult and kid tourney so I'm sure he'll have fun. I went to see Tandi yesterday and helped her get some of her registry done. It makes me want to get married so I can get all those fun presents!!! She's doing well and is getting excited about the wedding but is a bit stressed about where to live. The Bomer's are fantastic and fun as always. I love ya man! I'll keep yall posted on the cable. :)

Here goes nothing.....

So, I'm not all that groovy at this. Sach would kill me if he knew I was doing this. O'well! :) I guess I start out with what's happening in my life? I just finished nursing school and I'm waiting to take my state boards to be a certified RN! I take them on June 21st! Please think of me that day!! :) I'm trying to convince Sach to move somewhere with me that has more room. That's a feat in itself :) I just found out my sis is prego again!! Cash is only 6 months old so it's a bit of a shocker, even for her. We're all trying to be optimistic about it. It's a blessing! I'm pretty stoked really! I love kids and can't wait to have my own! We recently went to Sach's Zipper family reunion in Bridgeport, TX. It was alot of fun and I got to see my fam too! My aunt has a lakehouse there and I was unaware of it! That's short and sweet but it's a start. Bear with me :)
