He had gained a pound since the previous week and surpassed his birth weight! He's growing like a weed! Baby G is still not sleeping at night though. I think he might have a little colic and some reflux. I am open to any suggestions for getting him to sleep at night or just get his days and nights sorted. Even though he keeps us up all night we are enjoying every minute with our little guy! I'm dreading going back to work!

I was colicky when I was a baby and my mom swears by the following: placing the baby (supervised) in the carseat on top of the dryer while it is running. Driving around the block until I fell asleep and then leaving me in the carseat to sleep next to the bed. Walk around with my on my back, outstretched on her arms, swaying me back and forth gently while singing to me. All worked for her! Sophia wasn't colicky but would get into these crying jags and the only thing, I mean -- THE ONLY THING -- that would calm her down and put her to sleep would be the shower or running water!! We would sit in the bathroom with the lights off and run the shower and she would immediately stop and eventually fall asleep! I then bought a nature sounds cd with running water and played it, fairly loud by her crib when she was sleeping and she eventually got up to 5-6 hours before she would wake up again, and that was usually to eat!
Good luck hun, you are such a great momma!
